WBJJA
Jujitsu

This class focuses on using the techniques of Jujitsu in self-defense situations. Students will learn how to: break falls to prevent head or back injury, defend against common grips like the headlock or bear hug from behind and immobilize an attacker on the ground, reverse an attacker from the bottom position, force an attacker into submission.  Many law enforcement agencies and military branches find the techniques to be most favorable for their line of work.

Submission Grappling

In this class, the students learn how to control an opponent typically through the application of various grappling holds/positions. Students are also taught how to counter against other opponent holds and moves. This class will prepare a martial artist for competition in submission grappling tournaments. There is also a strong influence in this class on the importance of striking an opponent while on the ground for both self-defense purposes and MMA competitive fighting.
Judo
Our mission as a Judo program is to impart to our students not only the physical skills of Judo, but also its philosophy. In this class, the student learns how to use a variety of powerful throws, takedowns and sweeps to force the opponent to the ground.
Cardio Kickboxing
Our cardio kickboxing program is a fun and exciting way to shape and tone your body. We motivate you with upbeat music and an opportunity to burn up to 1,000 calories per hour. Some of the routines we use in our kickboxing program include jabs, cross, hook, uppercut, blocking, kicking, punching drills and hanging bag workouts. This class works to tone your arms while developing good fighting technique.
